Getting Started

When you first open SIMA MIND, you'll be guided through a short setup: your name, education level, course/program, year of study, institution, and how you like to study (preferred time, attention span, learning style, and daily study hours). SIMA uses this to tailor explanations, quiz difficulty, and your study timetable to you specifically. You can update any of this later from your profile.

Using SIMA

SIMA is your AI study assistant. You can ask it to explain a topic simply, at exam level, or in depth; generate MCQs, OSCE/OSPE-style questions, or clinical cases; get drug mechanisms, memory aids, and management plans; or just have a normal study conversation. SIMA works from what you've uploaded, general knowledge, or both — you can tell it which you prefer.

Please remember: SIMA is an AI tutor, not a licensed teacher, examiner, or clinician. Always cross-check important facts — especially clinical or exam-critical information — against your course materials, textbooks, and instructors.

Sources & Uploads

You can upload PDFs, PowerPoints, Word documents, and images for SIMA to analyse and build study material from — flashcards, quizzes, summaries, and audio/video overviews. Daily upload limits depend on your plan (see Pricing). If an upload fails, check the file type and size, then try again; if the problem continues, contact support.

Studio Tools

  • Flashcards (Spaced Repetition): SIMA generates cards using the SM-2 spaced repetition system, so you review things right before you'd forget them.
  • Pomodoro Timer: Focus, Short Break, and Long Break modes to structure your sessions.
  • Quizzes & Exams: MCQs, scenario questions, and long cases, either from your uploaded material or general topics.
  • Study Timetable: Tell SIMA your subjects and deadline, and it builds a schedule around your stated study habits.

Study Groups

Create or join a study group tied to your course, university, or subject. Group chats are designed to protect your privacy — you choose what, if anything, about your identity is visible to other members.

Subscriptions & Billing

SIMA MIND offers four tiers — Basic, Scholar Lite, Standard, and Scholar — plus a 14-day free trial for every new account. Full plan details are on the Pricing page. For billing issues, failed payments, or questions about your current plan, contact support@simatech.uk.

Account & Privacy

You can update your profile at any time from Settings. To request a copy of your data, ask a privacy question, or request account deletion, see Contact Us — we keep these requests separate from general support so they're handled by the right team.
